Where is Brides Of Beecroft?

Our bridal showroom is located at:

Shop 26, Genesis Building
74-76 Rawson St, Epping NSW 2121
(opposite Epping station on Beecroft Rd)

We moved from Beecroft in 2015 so we could give our brides a more luxurious experience but are proud and committed to our Beecroft namesake.

Brides come to us from the Hills District, the upper North Shore and all around Sydney.

Do I need an appointment to try dresses on?

Yes! Wedding dress shopping requires our one on one expertise. We tailor each appointment to the bride’s requirements and shower you with one on one attention to ensure we answer all your questions. When you visit, you will also have plenty of time to try on all the gowns you like the look of, then come back to your favourites.

Of course you are always free to pop in, however please call in advance. You can also pop over to our scheduling page to book your appointment over email! We try to allow 90 minutes with a personal consultant for a relaxing shopping experience.

Bring your Bride Tribe and let’s have some fun!

How much does a wedding dress cost?

A bridal gown is a carefully crafted garment and thus comes with a higher price tag than your everyday frock!

However, at Brides of Beecroft we understand that everyone has a budget. This is why we scour the globe for affordable wedding dresses, with most being around the $2000 mark.

The maximum price of a gown in our Epping bridal shop is $3800 and the lowest-priced gown you will find is $500.

When do I need to order my wedding dress?

In order to ensure you’re not rushed with your decision-making when selecting your bridal gown in Sydney, we recommend you begin dress shopping 8-10 months before your wedding. It can take 4-6 months for your made-to-order gown to arrive and 4-8 weeks in alterations to make it fit like a couture gown made perfectly for your figure!

While some designers can meet a tight deadline if need be with a speedy delivery from stock or expedited order with a fee, giving yourself more time will save you and us from making rushed decisions and feeling stress and pressure.

Do you sell plus size wedding gowns in Sydney?

We have a range of dresses for curvy figures, up to size 26.

Do you sell second-hand or vintage bridal gowns in Sydney?

All gowns from Brides of Beecroft are supplied to our clients brand new.

What can I expect at my appointment?

All our appointments include our undivided attention with a one-on-one consultant in a private fitting room. Initial appointments are a full hour and a half—sometimes you need that extra to try on the favourites again! We will learn all about the specific details of your wedding. You and your party will browse our selection of over 100 gowns, all handpicked with love to suit the modern yet timeless Bride of Beecroft.

We will start with 5-7 wedding dresses and offer our expertise and recommendations if we feel you have missed something that might be perfect. If you fall in love (again!) then we will take your measurements and decide on the best size together via the designer size chart. Then of course, we celebrate!

What should I bring to my appointment?

Aside from your shining self?? Nude, strapless and seamless undergarments are your new best friends! We invite you to bring any undergarments, shapewear etc. or shoes that you are considering. These are not required though! We also ask that you wear light make-up to keep our gowns free of stains and smudges.

What if I don’t know what type of dress I want?

Not all brides have a clear picture of their wedding dress and that’s fine! We can make recommendations based on your style, your figure and the theme of your wedding.

Let’s have some fun and try a few different silhouettes to get an idea of what you want.

How many dresses can I try on?

Your appointment will last between one hour and 90 minutes. During this time, you should be able to get an idea of what suits you. Some brides only need to try a few dresses to make a decision, while others try as many as they can!

We love to see our clients in a range of different gowns and will give our honest opinions on what works best.

How many people should I bring?

Less is more for your Sydney bridal gown fitting. You have probably heard this again and again but it’s true.

A smaller party of 2-4 trusted loved ones who will help you find a gown that is so you! Keeping it intimate at our Hills District bridal shop will help you focus on that style and feeling. Too many opinions may end up overwhelming the bride and can be confusing. If your nearest and dearest comes to more than 5 people, please give us a heads up so we can do our best to comfortably accommodate everyone!

What sizes are your samples?

Sample sizes vary by designers but we carry a range from bridal size 4-14 with the majority being 8-12. If your sizing is outside that range, not to worry, we have creative ways of making sure you can experience the look of your desired dress! Our gowns are made to order so depending on the designer we can order from a size 0-26.

Do you have a cancellation or return policy?

Made to order gowns, samples and accessories are all final sale. We do not offer refunds for cancellations.

What is the process of purchasing a gown?

You said yes!! After we have taken your measurements and decided on the size, we will take a 50 per cent deposit and order your gown!

Your wedding dress will likely take 4-6 months to arrive so in the meantime you can hunt for the perfect pair of shoes to complete your look, unless of course you are rocking the barefoot look…which we LOVE.

Don’t forget to take a look at our beautiful hairpieces and other accessories during your appointment.

Do you carry outfits for mother of the bride/groom, bridesmaids, prom or flower girls?

At this time, we prefer to shower our brides with exclusive focus and attention to make sure they have a memorable  experience for this once in a lifetime moment.

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is a phrase you will hear a lot whilst wedding dress shopping. It refers to a limited period of time for brides to view additional styles from a particular designer outside of the ones Brides of Beecroft has previously curated in store.

In some cases, you will be able to see the entire collection! Trunk shows are by appointment only and tend to book up quickly due to their limited time, so book quickly to avoid disappointment. Sign up to our emails to find out more.

When do you have a sample sale?

We have a sample sale a couple of times a year, and it is a very exciting event! Although we are sad to see our pristine samples go we are excited to offer our brides some huge savings!

Sign up to our emails for the next sample sale date!
